This interview comes from 1982; an old soldier of the King’s Own Scottish Borderers remembers when the end of the war reached his battalion as they were out of the fighting in the Belgium town of Courtrai.

  1. I will be there on the somme next year with leger holidays on the 25th august im so looking forward to being there and paying my respects to the soilders who gave there lives for us
